For release: July 12, 2013 - HMG Aerospace, publisher of InterPilot the official journal of the International Federation of Air Line Pilots’ Associations (IFALPA), has appointed veteran aviation communicator Rick Adams as the publication's new editor.
IFALPA is the global voice of professional pilots, providing representation, services and support in order to promote the highest level of aviation safety worldwide. IFALPA represents over 100,000 professional pilots in over 100 member associations around the world. InterPilot provides a conduit to convey insightful industry information and IFALPA’s messages to its pilot members and the wider aviation community.
“Rick Adams is a highly respected communicator with three decades of experience writing about aviation safety and training and managing media for major companies in the sector,” said Mark Howells, Managing Director of HMG Aerospace. “Rick has a passion for aviation; it’s in his DNA with a rich family history in the industry. We are delighted that he has accepted the InterPilot editor role to continue the development of the journal as the leading source of information for the professional pilot community.”
Adams has also previously led corporate communications for CAE, Marconi, Nortel, Raytheon, and Link Flight Simulation.
